The Petunia Chronicles
In the summer of 2014, I went AWOL from my job cutting television shows to make my first documentary film, Dreaming of a Vetter World. My tiny camper, Petunia, became home, production office, and edit bay. One summer stretched into three. I continued to travel and to learn from farmers and scientists who are thinking critically about soil, food production, sustainability, and climate change. All the while camping on farms and in Walmart parking lots. Each person I interviewed sent me to someone else. Petunia and I zig-zagged across the country. This podcast is a result of that very long road trip. The stories I heard during my journey with Petunia have changed my life. I invite you to travel along with me–and maybe your life will be changed too.
